Allocore is looking for a talented Program Manager, Loan & Grants Program to join our growing team and provide domain expertise and lead successful client engagements for Federal and Public Sector clients. The Program Manager will focus on coordinating and managing client delivery projects, ensuring alignment with Allocore’s advisory solutions and the needs of public sector clients.

In this role, you will provide leadership for a team performing desk reviews, reviewing single audits, and performing other compliance activities for loan and grant programs. You will oversee project teams and deliverables, leveraging your experience in program management, compliance and audit activities, public sector engagement, and solution delivery. You possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, enabling teams to deliver impactful projects effectively.


What You'll Do:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive working relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their objectives and providing advice and solutions aligned with their goals.
  • Audit & Review Responsibilities: Lead and conduct audits and program evaluations focused on assessing compliance, operational efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Problem Solving:  Address project challenges proactively, escalating issues as needed and implementing practical solutions to meet project objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Support developing and refining project management processes and methodologies to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Desk Review Support: Responsible for serving as lead reviewer for more complex recipient desk reviews and audits.
  • Team Coordination: Manage and mentor junior team members on critical skill and knowledge areas related to loan and grants programs as well as general consulting skills.
  • Project Oversight: Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring scope and quality standards adherence.
  • Problem Solving: Address project challenges proactively, escalating issues as needed and implementing practical solutions to meet project objectives.
  • Audit & Review Responsibilities: Lead and conduct audits and program evaluations focused on assessing compliance, operational efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Domain Insight: Serve as an internal subject matter expert on federal grants compliance, including extensive knowledge of the Uniform Grants Guidance located at 2 CFR.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, finance, economics, domain-specific law, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in government contracting, including project management and delivering complex advisory services related to loan and grant programs. A Juris Doctorate, Master's, or doctorate in a related field can count towards years of experience.
  • Proven track record of driving client satisfaction in a B2G environment.
  • Strong leadership, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a US Citizen willing/able to get a government clearance
  • Must be able to work in the Crystal City Office at least 1 day a week and client site meetings as required.
